RockeTalk: Ease of emailing photos, voice, videos from your phone

The one most compelling reason to Download
Must tell you- I take lots photos, videos on my phone and email to my friends and family all over the world. I was flipping through the pagers of Real Simple (teaches people how to simplify their life by making even complicated stuff ‘Real Simple’) when I came across this bit on How to E-mail photos.
First- who carries a camera with them all the time? Isn’t the always-with-you-camera your mobile phone? So now let us go on.
After using RockeTalk for the last three years (see note at the end), it never occured to me that people might still be doing it the ‘old fashioned’ way that involved:
- Downloading a compatible app (Picasa etc) to my PC (laptop)
- Going through the pain of cable (that comes with the mobile phone in the box),
- Then downloading a compatible program to make the cable work or
- Even Bluetooth never crossed my mind (yes not all phones and laptops are Bluetooth capable)
- Involving a computer for just emailing photos, short videos, audio (But why?)
The Real simple way:

The RockeTalk way:
From the compose screen, you can attach photos, videos selected from your mobile phone’s gallery or you can click to open the camera to click some there and then!
Add an audio (in your voice or just the about anything) to tell them more about what it is about.
Click on the Add recipients to go to your phone-book contacts. (or hand enter email addresses though I recommend you add the email addresses to your phone contact if you are going to email often.)
Select or enter as many email contacts as you want to.
Click ‘Send’ and you are done!
Right there. right then, they are already on their way to your loved ones (People use it for work too
I hear)
Never had to go anywhere near the person or the computer to send it to them.
Keep friends and family updated constantly.
Never have to hear ‘But you never tell us what you are doing’.
Now you can do it in pictures, video, voice and be done. (Did I mention, you can do all this without actually talking on the phone? LOL. Yep another advantage of email.)

m one of your oldest users on RT. I might have used this email feature at least 1000 times and made my friends happy
india operators don’t have mms-to-email so this is the only way to do send my photos, vids to email.

Tried sending multiple pics! 25 pics from my phone are now on my sister’s, brother-in-law’s, mom’s, dad’s and 5 other friends’ email. All send in one go.

Uma, glad you tried it. I’ve heard RockeTalker send over 50 pictures in one shot. Pretty cool come to think of it. I had never looked at sending pictures/videos using RockeTalk in this light- but this makes so much sense. It really is so worth it to download. There are a few other tricks you can do with the send to email feature- I’ll check though before I let the cat out of the bag
Ooooh yes it is that good, but let me get an ‘OK’ before I spill

Good to see you are having fun.
There is so much that you can do with RockeTalk – things that at times even I forget are ‘hidden’ features that we, the RockeTalk team use internally all the time (Yeah some have gotten ‘leaked’ to friends and family… Don’t know why we did not really bring them out for regular Rocketalkers to use… hmmm.. need to do something about that.)
Hey keep writing. Appreciate all ur comments.

Seriouly, I love the fact that I can send pictures/videos out to my friends and family from wherever I am. Especially now with the new baby at home (all you gals- its not mine, my older brother’s) it is nice to catch the ‘new’ things the baby is in to every day. She turned 6 mths last week so I’m having fun getting some serious attention from gals.. ha ha.. yes a baby is always a plus. And on top of that, I’m the doting uncle with new pics every day and guess what- have my own fan base.
Hey Amita- you myte want to include this on youe How-talk-to-girls thing. Need a guest speaker? ha ha

You are most welcome to step in! In fact we are looking for some RockeTalk enthusiasts to help us out! Haven’t been able to do much on How to-Talk-to girls for a while. Been too busy with my work
