RockeTalk: The evolution revolution
April 24, 2009
Dear RockeTalkers,
You asked for changes we made them.
And we made changes without your asking for them.
We hope you like the way RockeTalk has changed and evolved right before your eyes.

As you remember and keep talking about the colors, the screens and features of the past versions, we thought we would go back into our files and post some of the old screens (and new ones) to remind you of the good times we’ve all had, and continue to have, through the stages.
With encouragement from you, RockeTalk is now available for download on over 340 mobile phone models. If you have a model that we have not yest covered, please send your request to support@rocketalk.com
At times we have to let go of some features but we keep listening and try to make sure that we react quickly and meet any popular requests or high priority usability issues pointed out by you. And if necessary, add some of the features back. If there is something that you absolutely must have on RockeTalk, please write to feedback@rocketalk.com or ping me (amita) when I am online.
(No, I am not a bot. I need to eat, sleep, and attend to nature’s calls- just like you. An ocassional shower or outing doesn’t hurt either
)
Thanks for all your wonderful feedback. RockeTalk would not be where it is today without your active participation.
Hope to catch you for a session of Antaakshri in Bollywood Hungaama or a impromptu Mushaira in Mehfil. Or in Flirts. Or Babel. Or …. I’m sure you’ll catch me ….
Keep those jokes and videos coming. (Yep. Heard you. We are increasing the size for uploading videos
)
As always, we give you the application. You make it fun.
Love to you all.
Amita
(On behalf of the RockeTalk team)

I see in the picture displayed there are all Nokia phones. Are you connected with the Nokia Company? Also, the Antakshari game sounds interesting, and it would be cool to be able to play it wherever I am. I live in the U.S., and don’t get to interact with many Indians who listen to that music. How is the game played on the phone?

Antaakshri on RockeTalk? Well RockeTalkers usually play the game by picking a word for the day and each song must have that word in first few lines.
Also saw some themes like Kishore Kumar songs, Asha Bhonsle songs, Oldies, Dev Anand, Shammi Kapoor, Rishi Kapoor, etc or even songs from the 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s …

I’ve been using rocketalk to send videos of my b’day bash
Proof for mum and dad that things were under control hahaha (Hint- send only appropriate ones to mum n dad… all others get the… well .. the rest)
Sent it to all the email addresses I had on my phone directly. So painless. So cool. People got them right away and have been fielding questions about Rocketalk ever since LOL.
Really fun. My niece and nephew keep sending goofy stuff from Sweden all the time. It makes the distance just fade away.
Thanks rocketalk.

Way to go!
Yes, there are lots of hidden features on RockeTalk. Did you know you could save those funny (cute) voice messages from your friends and make them your unique ringtones?
RockeTalk keeps the families connected no matter how far they might physically be.

yu hu, just couple od days back we were talking in Mobile vas conference bout allthe mutimedia killer applications that have been launched in last one year and RockeTalk was the most prominent one specially with great features like video and voice chat from phone and the Rocketalk LG preload deal has also captured the imagination of all VAs business gurus. so among all great things that rocketalk does there s ne thing that we all did not understand that why is rocketalk not making it easy for all its users to invite new friends, i gues that will make it realy explode, just a thought

Hi Minku- true. Connecting with friends- thats all that counts. And what can be better than connecting in the medium your are most comfortable with (voice, video, photos, text in any combination) to fully express yourself?
Good to hear from you.

Hi Shell!
Good to see you again. We miss you on RockeTalk
I’m sorry the PC version is not available as of now. Will keep you posted as soon as it becomes available. Would you like to have it as test version and help test it? That way, you could be one of the first users on the new PC version.
Hope things are going well with you and your loved ones. You are on the East coast, right?
