RockeTalk Now Preloaded on LG Phones

More exciting news! We’ve made it even easier for new users to get RockeTalk. We have partnered with LG one of the biggest, and most progressive, handset manufacturers in the world to pre-load RockeTalk on several new LG model phones in India. As a start, RockeTalk is available now on all the new LG KT610 and KF750 (Secret) model phones, and several other models are also in the works.

On these phones there is no need to download! Simply select “Games & Apps” from the home screen, then “RockeTalk.” It’s that simple! And as you know, RockeTalk is the only application in India that provides both mobile IM chat and a full-featured end-to-end mobile social network with voice, photo, and video messaging, communities, and user-generated and professional content.
We’re obviously very excited about our partnership with LG. Here is our full press release.
For those of you who have a Nokia or Sony Ericsson phone, you can continue to download RockeTalk from our Web site.

Hi,
I saw one of the comments on your blogs from someone from Indonesia. I quote, “Just joined rocketalk. Need more people from Indonesia on here! I use a N73.”
I think preloading on certain model is a great idea, however because of “network effect” (it takes more parties to have phone or fax or email to become these mediums to become successful), do you think you need to get more people using RockeTalk. I think if you allow a feature using which a user can send the link to download RockeTalk to his/her friends – it will really lower “switching costs” or enable new users to become RocketTalk users.
Keep tuned for more comments from me.
